Production of the first H-beam size 10 in Iran by Jahan Foulad Gharb
According to Chilan, Jahan Foulad Gharb (Shokri Industrial Group) succeeded, for the first time in Iran, in bringing the H-beam size 10 into mass production by relying on domestic capabilities and technical modifications in the production lines.
This strategic product, which had previously been supplied through imports, is now removed from the import basket and can be provided domestically with higher quality and more competitive pricing thanks to the efforts of local specialists.
The H-beam, due to its greater strength, reduced structural weight, and optimization of steel consumption, has wide applications in construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
The managers of Shokri Industrial Group also emphasized the necessity of cultural promotion in structural design and the shift in engineering patterns from traditional IPE sections to H-sections.
This achievement has been realized in line with Shokri Industrial Group’s annual slogan, “Each Season, One Product,” and promises a bright future in the development of specialized products, expansion of domestic market share, and the growth of Iranian steel exports to the region.
