The global steel industry is once again turning its attention to Istanbul. The 8th edition of Metal Expo Istanbul will take place from September 16–18, 2026, at the Istanbul Expo Center an event that has, over the years, become one of the region’s key meeting points for steel industry players.
This year’s edition promises the same impressive scale: nearly 43,000 square meters of exhibition space across Halls 4 to 8, hosting around 400 brands from various countries and welcoming more than 30,000 visitors and industry professionals. These figures underscore Metal Expo’s continued standing as one of the most attended events in the metals sector across the region.
What sets Metal Expo apart from many similar events is its comprehensive coverage of the steel value chain bringing steel producers, service centers, traders, and processing companies together under one roof to showcase everything from raw and semi-finished products to the latest processing technologies and value-added services.
Beyond the exhibition floor, this year’s event will also host the “Transformation At Steel” conference, held in collaboration with SteelOrbis, bringing together representatives from leading steel industry institutions in Turkey and abroad to discuss the sector’s outlook and emerging trends.
